Located near Taupō in the central North Island, Ngatamariki Power Station is a significant geothermal energy development, harnessing renewable geothermal resources to contribute electricity to New Zealand’s national grid.
We supplied and placed reinforcing steel and mesh for the Ngatamariki Power Station, with a dedicated installation team supporting the project throughout the reinforced concrete works.
The project required the supply and placement of reinforcing steel and mesh to support extensive reinforced concrete works throughout the facility. A dedicated team of reinforcing installers was based on site for the duration of these works, supporting the project’s demanding construction programme.
The scale and complexity of the development required careful coordination of fabrication, supply and on-site installation, demonstrating the importance of reliable reinforcing capability in the delivery of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
