Grade 300E is a high-ductility reinforcing steel with a lower yield strength than Grade 500E, available in both plain and deformed bar and coil for reinforced concrete applications.

ReidBar™ Grade 500E is a high-strength, high-ductility threaded reinforcing bar designed for reinforced concrete and structural applications. Manufactured from Grade 500E micro-alloyed steel, its continuous threaded profile allows the bar to be cut and mechanically connected on site using compatible ReidBar™ connection systems.

Grade 500E steel is engineered to provide the strength and ductility required for New Zealand’s seismic design environment and complies with the requirements of AS/NZS 4671 – Steel for the Reinforcement of Concrete. Its performance is achieved through controlled micro-alloying, including small additions of vanadium.
