Located in Glendowie, Auckland, the Glendowie Sewer Upgrade required a heavily reinforced concrete structure as part of improvements to the local wastewater network.
We utilised the IMBMS coupler system to overcome heavily congested reinforcement, providing a practical solution for the project’s complex reinforced concrete walls.
The project involved the supply and installation of reinforcing steel within a constrained construction environment. High concentrations of reinforcement created significant congestion within the structural walls, requiring an alternative approach to conventional reinforcing laps.
