Located beside the Ōtākaro / Avon River in central Christchurch, the Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial Wall provides a permanent place of remembrance and reflection for those affected by the Canterbury earthquakes.
We delivered both in-situ and prefabricated pile reinforcement, supporting the foundations of one of Christchurch’s most significant places of remembrance.
The project required the supply and installation of reinforcement for both in-situ and prefabricated piles, supporting the substantial foundation works required along the riverbank.
Combining off-site prefabrication with coordinated on-site installation provided an efficient reinforcing solution suited to the project’s challenging site conditions.
