The project required the fabrication, supply and installation of approximately 350 tonnes of reinforcing steel. A key element of the reinforcing works was the off-site prefabrication of a 2.5-metre-wide horizontal reinforcing beam, which was delivered to site ready for installation. This approach helped reduce on-site labour, improve construction efficiency and support the project programme.
